The early Quakers of Warwick were interred in what is now the quiet and peaceful garden of the Meeting House. It was used as a burial ground from 1660 and it is thought that by 1912 about 400 Quakers had been laid to rest here.
When the Local Government Board ceased to recognise the site as a burial ground in 1912, the land could be developed as a garden. Though if you look carefully you can still find a couple of gravestones.
